The Wheatland Park Ball Field Complex is Reno County’s newest premier destination for baseball and softball. Serving as the home field for Buhler High School’s varsity and junior varsity teams, the complex also hosts a variety of programs through Buhler Recreation during the summer.

Featuring two baseball fields and two softball fields, along with practice batting cages and a brand-new concession stand, this state-of-the-art complex has everything players and fans need.

Located just a short walk from Buhler High School, the varsity baseball field also boasts Reno County’s only turf infield, making it a standout facility for athletes and spectators alike.

Field reservations

Our ballfields are available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis when not reserved. General public use is free, though please note that access to field lights is not available.

Reservation requests will be managed by either USD 313 or Buhler Recreation based on the season. To reserve a field, please reach out to the appropriate contact listed below:

Complex operations

To maximize public use of the facility, operational responsibilities are shared between USD 313 and Buhler Recreation as follows:

  • Year-Round Maintenance: Handled by USD 313
  • Scheduling:
    • August 1st – May 31st: Managed by USD 313
    • June 1st – July 31st: Managed by Buhler Recreation
